I delight and speak the promise of HOPE. No matter where I wonder or what I am up to, I want to reveal the life of hope.
I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I had a childhood which continues to provide fond memories, a house full of seven other siblings, my God loving, mom who cherished us and loved us equally but different, and a neighborhood full of playmates. Divorce, alcoholism, and abuse brought our share of heart ache and dysfunction. The beautiful was mixed with the ugly but in the end love always reined. #celebrateeverything
At twenty-eight years old, after making some dreadful life decisions I chose Christ. I shook off the disaster I had made of my life, in hopes of improving that of my eight-year-old daughter. Immediately I fell in love with Jesus and God’s word in print. I never turned back. God continued to make a beautiful life even after I thought I had nothing. He continues to be a part of every decision, and moves and shapes who I am now. His promises are always bigger than any obstacle I face. I believe, “I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.” Mark 11:24 NLT. It’s always been a matter of trust. #itsamatteroftrust
I now live in the peaceful mountains of Kingman, AZ with my husband, Dennis. We travel often. My favorite trips are the ones to stay united with our three married children and six grandchildren scattered throughout the US.
I love people and I desire to stay connected. Social media and video are amazing for the ones far off. I’ll use it all; phone call, a text, a letter, or better yet, a meal or a cup of coffee. Coffee is fuel for conversation. Oh, how I enjoy deep conversation and the revelation of hope.
